“You’re angry with me,” he stated with certainty. “A little,” she admitted, sinking back against the leather seat, and looking up at the night sky. She tugged at the hem of her short black dress and kicked off her heels with a sigh. “Why? I simply told you I thought you’d had enough to drink.” “What are you, my daddy?” she shot back. “Do you need a daddy?” he inquired darkly. The question caught her off guard, stunned her, in fact. Shockingly, she almost said YES! Instead, she barked out a short dismissive laugh. A flash of heat raced through her body and settled in her tummy. She’d read stories. It was not unheard of. Having someone to take care of her had been a long running fantasy in her mind. It would never be real, of course, but at times it was damned appealing. She worked hard. Occasionally, she was so tired at the end of the day she didn’t even want to prepare a meal, let alone study for her degree. As a rule she ran through a drive-through and grabbed some take-out, went home, and crashed. Still, it was a living, and she was thankful she was able to support herself, no matter how meagerly. How lovely it would be to have a daddy watching out for her, loving her, pleasing her, she thought wistfully. Then she remembered the discipline in some of those books. She willingly admitted that her life often got off course a bit. Sometimes she was late paying bills, and she wasn’t always the best housekeeper. She made lists, and then misplaced them, bought groceries that frequently spoiled in the refrigerator because she failed to cook them in time. Yes, having a little help and guidance might help, but what about when she didn’t do as she was told? If one had a daddy, it could mean a punishment, a spanking or worse. Honey shivered. She wasn’t sure if it was brought on by anticipation or dread. In any case, he was kidding. Wasn’t he? His Saturday Little is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The release date is 8/12/2022. Once this book goes live, it will be available on other distributors. And yes, I know I'm terrible about keeping up this blog, sigh. In fact, I can see that I never posted my last book, which I wrote for Alyssa Hart's Rawhide Ranch series. My only excuse is that I've been under the weather for the last couple of months, and trying to keep up with two pen names can be exhausting. In any case, if you missed that one, here it is! As the wife of one of the wealthiest men in the world, Trisha Tremont's life seems like a fairy tale. She's even learning to love her role as her husband's Little girl...even if it means she finds herself with a sore bottom more often than she would like. But as much as she loves her new Daddy and the life they've built, she lives in constant fear of being exposed. Could a visit to Rawhide Ranch give her the chance she's been waiting for to turn the tables on New York's biggest gossip? Or will Trisha find herself on the wrong end of an April Fool's prank — and her Daddy's paddle? I'm sure you know the drill. Clicking either of the books above will take you to their Amazon page.
